SpinBite™
Stop thinking. Start eating.

SpinBite helps you pick a nearby restaurant, and it collects as little as it can to do that. No account is required, and your data is never sold.
Your location— only when you tap “Use my location” and allow it, and only to find restaurants near you. Your device’s location is sent to our server to look up nearby places; type a zip or address instead and we use that. We don’t store it against you or keep a history of where you’ve been, and we never ask for it in the background.
Anonymous usage analytics— aggregated events (a spin happened, a Directions link was tapped) tied to a random session id, not to you, so we can see what’s useful and fix what breaks.
Notification subscription— if you opt in to reminders, we store the push token and your timezone so a nudge can arrive at a sane local hour. Turn it off anytime.
Feedback— whatever you type into the in-app feedback box.
We do not collect your name, email, contacts, photos, or your location in the background. Nothing is used to track you across other apps or websites.
Restaurant data comes from Google Places(subject to Google’s terms). Our cache, analytics, and hosting run on Supabase and Vercel.
Deny or revoke location permission whenever you like — the app still works with a typed zip. Turn notifications off in the app or your device settings. Clearing the app’s storage wipes your saved location, favorites, and preferences, which live on your device.
Want your data gone? Email support@spinbite.org and we’ll delete your notification subscription and any feedback tied to your device.
Questions? support@spinbite.org— it goes to one person, and they read every message.
